Wat Yuat or another name is Wat Luang Pho Song Phi Nong. It's located on the curved road in Ton Pho sub-district, 3 km from The City Pillar Shrine toward Bangrachan district.

According to historical records, this temple was probably one of the historical battle areas, which was called Kai Noi during the Ayutthaya period when Burmese troops invaded Bangrachan village.

Later, the temple became abandoned. And it was rebuilt in the early Rattanakosin period. The ruins of the stupa were found under the root of the big bodhi trees, and two Buddha statues as well.

The two Buddha statues have the same face, but different body sizes. So they are called Luang Pho Song Phinong, that means two brothers. Nowadays, both of them are shrined in a small building, that is called viharn.

You walk a little farther to see the golden ordination hall. It's very beautiful, especially when it glitters in the sunshine, that makes it look more attractive.

วัดยวด

วัดนี้ก็เป็นอีกวัดนึงที่น่าสนใจ ขับรถจากตัวเมือง มาแค่ 3 กม วัดจะอยู่ตรงหัวโค้ง ด้านซ้ายมือ ชาวบ้านเรียกวัดนี้ว่า "วัดหลวงพ่อสองพี่น้อง" เพราะหลวงพ่อสององค์ในวิหาร มีลักษณะที่เหมือนกัน แต่ต่างกันที่ขนาดเท่านั้น เป็นพระพุทธรูปที่อยู่คู่วัดมานาน และชาวบ้านให้ความเคารพมาก

จากลักษณะของเจดีย์และพระพุทธรูป 2 องค์ สันนิษฐานว่าวัดสร้างขึ้นในสมัยรัตนโกสินทร์ตอนต้น และน่าจะ เคยเป็นหนึ่งในสนามรบที่เรียกว่า ค่ายน้อย เมื่อครั้นศึกบางระจัน

วัดนี้เคยได้รับการบูรณะ โดยการนำของ นพ.สมหมาย ทองประเสริฐ พร้อมกับชาวบ้าน ซึ่งคนไทยเรียกท่านว่า หมอเทวดา และท่านยังเป็นผู้สร้าง "อาศรมหมอชีวก" อีกด้วย

สิ่งโดดเด่นของวัดนี้คือ พระอุโบสถ ซึ่งเพิ่งได้รับการบูรณะอีกครั้งเมื่อไม่นานมานี้ สวยงามมาก โดยเฉพาะช่วงที่แดดส่องกระทบ
