Temple was built in 1887. Within the temple, only one thing that interests me is the big statue of famous monk, named "Somdej Toh" wearing orange coloured robe. 

The statue is enshrined in the glass building, which is surrounded by four demon statues at each corner. In front of the building is the statue of Hindu god with 4 arms, called "Narai".

The nearby building is the ordination hall with the principal Buddha statue. Normally, It isn't open to the public. This temple is actually large, but there is nothing to see, except the statue as I mentioned earlier.

I think April is the best month to visit this temple, because you have a chance to participate in Chakphra festival. Chakphra is pulling Buddha statue. 

The temple holds the festival once a year, every April. And this year (2023) it was held on April 15, 2023.  People decorate a vehicle that carries the ancient Buddha statue with flowers, and pull it with a rope. The Buddha statue is paraded along the roads in In-Buri district, and visitors can pour water on it.

The ancient Buddha, that was found in an old pavilion in the temple, is Phra Upakut. No one knows how long the Buddha statue has been there. 

 วัดน้อย อินทร์บุรี

วัดนี้สร้างใน ปี พ.ศ.2430 เป็นวัดที่ไม่มีสิ่งปลูกสร้างอะไรมากมายนัก แต่สิ่งที่น่าสนใจภายในวัด คือ สมเด็จโตองค์ใหญ่ ซึ่งประดิษฐานอยู่ในอาคารกระจก โดยมีรูปปั้นท้าวเวสสุวรรณยืนล้อมรอบอาคารทั้ง 4 ทิศ ส่วนด้านหน้าอาคาร จะมีรูปปั้นพระนารายณ์ 4 กร

ถ้าจะมาเที่ยวที่นี่ เราแนะนำให้มาช่วงเดือนเมษายน เพราะที่วัดนี้มี ประเพณีชักพระ ซึ่งน่าจะเป็นวัดเดียวในสิงห์บุรี ที่มีพิธีแห่พระอุปคุต

ในปีนี้ (พ.ศ.2566) ทางวัดได้จัดพิธีชักพระ ในวันที่ 15 เมษายน เวลา 8.00 น. โดยได้นำพระอุปคุตแห่ไปตามจุดต่างๆ ซึ่งเริ่มจากแยกไผ่ขาด และกลับมาถึงวัดน้อย

ระหว่างทางมีการหยุดขบวนแห่พระอุปคุต เพื่อให้ประชาชนทั่วไปได้เข้ามาสรงน้ำพระและขอพร นอกจากนี้ตลอดสองข้างทาง ยังมีประชาชน ชาวบ้านนำอาหารมาแจกให้กับผู้มาร่วมงานอีกด้วย 

สำหรับประวัติของพระองค์นี้ไม่มีใครทราบแน่ชัดว่าสร้างขึ้นเมื่อใด ทราบแต่เพียงว่ามีคนไปพบท่านอยู่ในศาลาหลังเก่า 

ขณะนี้จะมีการ สร้างห้องน้ำให้กับพระสงฆ์ ที่จำพรรษา ณ วัดแห่งนี้ เนื่องจากกุฏิของท่านเป็นบ้านไม้ยกพื้นสูง คล้ายบ้านไทยสมัยก่อน ส่วนห้องน้ำจะอยู่แยกจากกุฏิที่ท่านอยู่ ทำให้การขึ้นลงกุฏิค่อนข้างลำบาก โดยเฉพาะเวลากลางคืน และช่วงหน้าฝน ซึ่งฝนจะสาดเข้ามาเปียกบันได อาจทำให้ลื่น ตกบันไดได้ นอกจากนี้จะมีการสร้าง กุฏิอีกหลังพร้อมห้องน้ำในตัว
